A lot of Nigerians has actually shifted from the use of kerosene cooking to gas cooking. Recently, it seems that the use of gas for cooking is more economical to the use of kerosene for cooking, apart from this gas cooking is also faster than kerosene cooking. Even in the rural areas a lot people are now shifting from the use of kerosene and firewood to the use of gas for cooking. Today in every street corners in Nigeria there are gas refilling centre. I keep on imagining how they really make their profits despite the competition. But the fact still remains that a lot household are really patronizing cooking gas refilling centers. On this article we are going to look at the step by step on how to start a cooking gas refilling business in Nigeria.

     1. Rent a shop location that is close to any gas supply plant: Renting a shop location that is close to a gas supply plant really has a lot of advantage. It will reduce the cost of transportation. Cooking gas plants deal on wholesale, yours is to buy in bulk from them on wholesale and sell on retail to your customers. These are the reason why your shop needs to be close to a gas supply plant. And again your shop needs to be located in a strategic position that can be easily access by customers.

     2. Purchase the necessary equipments: The following are some of the things you will need to start this business;

-         Purchase a regulator (gas corks, it should be about 3-4 pieces)
-         Buy an industrial scale.

    3. Get the license and permit: Most business in Nigeria requires license and permit to operate. Make sure you secure the license and permit from the local government or state government where your business is located.
